Shor Gray Fox

A classic and highly versatile natural material for tying Atlantic salmon and steelhead flies. Gray fox offers a beautiful blend of natural grey, brown, black and cream tones that creates excellent contrast and a lifelike appearance in the water. The fine, mobile hair provides plenty of movement while maintaining enough stiffness to form attractive wings and tails.

Gray fox is an excellent substitute for squirrel tail, making it particularly useful for traditional salmon patterns, streamers, wet flies and hair-wing flies. Its natural colour variation gives every fly added depth without requiring multiple materials.
