Shimano Sedona FD

The Shimano Sedona 500 FD is a low-cost spinning reel. This reel is created with Shimano's S Concept, which emphasizes smooth, silent operation, as well as a durable construction.

The Dyna-Balance feature of the 500 FD eliminates wobble during retrieve by counter balancing the rotor to enhance sensitivity and smoothness. The Sedona 500 FD is forged with the Paladin Gear Durability Enhancement design, which consists of a cold forged aluminum drive gear and a hardened brass pinion gear. This design helps the reel to retain its out-of-the-box smoothness. The 500 FD's Super Stopper II feature uses a one-way bearing to eliminate backplay.
