With the solid foundation of great performance at a highly attractive price point, our Trak single-handed fly rods are optimised in their weight class to complement both water coverage and fly presentation in multiple fishing environments.

Each rod features a well-engineered reel seat with robust carbon insert, a contoured AAA cork handle for comfortable handling and longevity, and high-quality rings with low-friction stripper guides for efficient casting.

Designed to master dry flies, streamers and nymphs alike, the 590 rod excels across the full spectrum of modern light single-handed techniques. Either wading in the river or fishing from a drift boat, this rod is the trout angler’s staple workhorrse. The 5 weight offers smooth tension and connectivity with the fly line throughout the entire casting sequence. This results in delicate fly presentation at a range of distances.

  • Carbon fibre construction
  • Contoured AAA cork handle
  • High quality reel seat with carbon insert
  • Medium Fast action
  • Low friction stainless steel stripping and snake guides
  • Zirconia stripper ring insert

Fishing Fever Take;

The Trak series of rods from Loop is a breakthrough. These rods have a very agreeable action, not too stiff so you can feel the rod load deeply, but recover quickly to send the fly where you want. Great for beginners and more advanced anglers alike. The green lustre on these blanks will make you stand out on the river, and won't break the bank!
